the staff at Muntri Mews, from housekeeping to the manager, are very responsive. the hotel provides excellent Wi-Fi for guests. 3. the location of the hotel is nice and ideal, just a 15-minute walk from the city centre.

My wife and I loved this little boutique hotel. The layout and design is so welcoming and the rooms are tastefully done ,a mixture of Victorian colonial and modern comfort. Every little aspect has been beautifully carried out with exquisite attention to detail ,from the modern bathroom fittings to the old Chinese slide bolts on the doors. We couldn't fault the staff. Chona in particular was so helpful but I found all of the kids on staff went out of their way to make our stay more than enjoyable. Chris , the owner lent a low keyed personal note and took the time to give us some of the background and history of Penang and Georgetown. If you are passing through this part of Malaysia you would be crazy to stay anywhere else

I've been trying to find something bad to say about Mutri Mews to no avail. The only thing was our inability to stay an extra night due to the place being booked out.

The whole experience of staying in Muntri Mews and in the heart of Georgetown is wonderful and priceless. The place is excellent and the services are top class! Totally value for money!

Probably should include the option to include breakfast from the Mews Cafe into the accommodation package.

I really enjoyed my stay at Muntri Mews. the hotel was homely and had very pleasant staff providing great service. the room I stayed in was unique, spotless, and had a TV as well as a queen bed.

It was a lovely experience - the rooms were delightful. And the staff were all amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know.

There is nothing I did not like, but I would mention that it might be more convenient to have a phone and aittle fridge in the room. Apart from that everything was perfect.

Very unique room decoration and large beds. Accommodated us and our son easily. Staff very friendly and helped us solve all the problems we had. My wife did not bring tooth brush and one of the staff even rode scooter to one of the 7-11 to buy one for us.

The hotel was spotlessly clean. the restaurant was really nice with delicious nonya food. the bed was extra large. I enjoyed having a terrace, Netflix, and a safe box. I liked this venue and recommend it.

Hidden gem and amazing for the money

The location was marvellous, only 5 minutes walk to a heritage museum. the staff was lovely, kept everything clean and wonderful. the breakfast was really tasty and great with good selections.

Proximity to Chulia St and Little India. Great design, comfortable, great coffee.

Privacy, we learned way too much about our neighbors in the next room, we heard everything...

Fantastic location made it easy to walk around the old town, the friendly and smiling staff made the stay welcomed and the balanced large room was confortble.

Only problem, outdoors had plenty of mosquitos. Unconfortamble to dine outside.

Fantastic location near an Antique shop, with friendly staff and clean rooms featuring a large comfortable bed and great views.

The fitout was fabulous and the room very comfortable. Also good proximity to restaurants, shops etc.

The lights on the air conditioner are too bright and you need to cover somehow. It lit up the room at night like a beacon. Also the toast in your cafe was too thick, not crisp and a bit soggy in the middle! Apart from these very minor details, we loved our stay.

The beds were lovely and the standard room itself was bright and impressive, and the breakfast was really tasty with good selections and reasonably priced.

Nicely decorated rooms with good amenities, delicious breakfast. Location near the cafe along the long and deep cobbled alley that looked warm and friendly because of the lush plants along the side, central George Town and the well known Love Lane.
